Joy Crookes and my culture radar

 

Good morning everyone today I wanna tell you about a new woman who I meet reciently in a newspaper called "Support the Guardian", it´s a page about culturan information of UK people.

I decided read about a young woman called  Joy Crookes, she´s a singer-songwriter who started uploading cover versions of songs to YouTube when she was 13 years old. Joy Crookes is British, Irish and Bangladeshi. She incorporates details about relationships, self-reliance, their culture, their South London roots and their identity into their music.

In the "Support the Guardian" Joy talked about a some interesting things that remind her family. First she talk about a  film that reminds her dad called Aftersun (by Charlotte Wells), the film is about loss and the questions that remain when that person is gone but also a reminder of the importance of moving on, saying goodbye and letting go of blame. Joy talkeb about a  Book, Venue, Art, Music and a Arsenal´s documentary.

I found the Venue (restaurant and bar) in Jumbi, London. This place it´s interesting cuz it is very curious the way the tables are removed and it becomes a dance floor like I have never seen in my country lol.

My own culture radar

After readed the culture things Joy Crookes recomended in The Guardian I wanna talk about a things too! So here we go:

1)Serie: Fionna and Cake it´s a new story of the Adventure Times´s world, it have the story of the genderbender versions of the AT characters Finn and Jake but with changes. This version it's a bit more for adults as those of us who grew up watching adventure hour are also adults now.

2)K-drama: King the land captured my heart with its story and the relationship of enemies to lovers of the main characters. The beautiful infrastructure of the hotel and obviously the beautiful protagonist Gu Won who is the son of the president of the hotel King.

3)Anime: My Happy Marriage is an anime with recent episodes on netflix, it tells the story of a young woman who was abused by her stepsister and stepmother, her sister is married to the boy she loves and he loves her back, but the protagonist was arranged another marriage with an "evil" man but her new husband is not what he seems.

4)Music: Bruno Mars is being talked about a lot these days in Chile for his upcoming concert tour, Talking to the moon in my opinion is his legendary song. 

5)Serie: Last week was released the live action of One Piece! the famous anime has been very successful with its new series with real actors and incredible scripts, music and visual ef

6)Web-comic: The kiss bet is a webtoon platform comic with recent episodes as its 3rd season was released recently, this new installment will bring us a more intimate approach of the main characters, new dramas due to an upcoming gang war and new feelings.
